With a tight seal that has an improved performance over a conventional PTFE material. With a reduced product loss and emissions and reduced creep relaxation this unique manufacturing process minimizes cold flow problems typical of skived and expanded PTFE sheets.
The Garlock GYLON Style 3500 has an excellent bolt torque retention and withstands a wide range of chemicals for extended service live in a wide variety of applications. Garlock GYLON Style 3500 has branding and color coding that reduces misapplication. Additionally Garlock GYLON Style 3500 doesn't support flame or bacterial growth which makes it ideal for all strong acids except hydroflouric acid, solvents, hydrocarbons, water, steam, chlorine and cryogenics.
