FOAM MATERIALS

Gasket Supply stocks and supplies a variety of foam materials from leading manufacturers for production of flexible seals, gaskets, and custom fabrication of other products and pieces. Each material exhibits different mechanical and physical properties and is available in a variety of densities and polymer variations. In addition to gasketing applications, foam and sponge materials can be used for seals, spacers, cabinet bumpers and adhesive backend tapes.

Gasket Supply can order sheets or rolls of foam material. Or, work with us to cut your standard sized or custom gaskets for your project’s applications.

CROSS-LINKED POLYETHYLENE FOAM

Cross-Linked Polyethylene Foam has good thermal insulating properties and excellent chemical properties that make it suitable for a wide range of applications. Our line of Cross-Linked Polyethylene foam, has a smooth skinned surface on both sides and is supplied in continuous rolls and Plastazote Cross-Linked Polyethylene foam.

This foam is available in six different grades:

• styles 2A and 2AF (UL rated and meets ASTM E84-03 Flame spread index 5) are 2# density style 4A and 4EO are 4# density and 6A and 6EO are 6# density.

Zotefoams Cross-Linked Polyethylene foam is available in eight grades:

• style LD33, LD45, LD45FR (UL rated), and LD70 are low density; style HD60 and HD80 are high density; and LD50 CN and EV45 CN are conductive.

PVC FOAM

This foam material is a general-purpose closed cell foam with good air, moisture, and dust sealing properties, plus UV and chemical resistance. Density range of 6 to 15 PCF, thickness from 1/32″ to 1″.
